I go to work with a constant stream of ideas and creative energy. My process is playful and inventive, I enjoy the challenge of using new materials to create an image. The subject is irrelevant. Whether an animal, a bird, a person or a landscape – I bring my interpretation to the work, the subject is just a point of departure for the artwork – a starting point for the experiment to begin.
I am happy to paint and discover new techniques as I work and explore the accidents which occur from creative process. I work in a comfortable chaos. Each work feeds the next. I am inspired by the brave and bold work of outsider/visionary artists.
